“Salary Trends are looking very positive for Agile professionals”
.
All size companies are using Agile – from 10 to 10,000+ employees.
The top industry using Agile is “Software Providers” – not surprising.
But then you see Consulting & Financial Services, Manufacturers and others leveraging Agile to do more with less. And not one of them is using Agile for “all” their projects – meaning that Traditional methods and mixed methods are being used heavily still. But the transition to agile is increasing rapidly.
.
The Most Frequently quoted Salary in the study by Region
The majority of Agile professionals are 39 year old or younger – yet they have 5 or more years experience under their belts. So these experienced young professionals are making very good salaries.
- USA / Canada: $90,000 – $99,999
- EUROPE: $60,000 – 69,999
- ASIA: $30,000 – $39,999
.
Some of the most interesting findings impacting Salary

And every month of Agile experience raises your salary $227. That should motivate some PMs to learn about Agile.
